Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is the middle child in the just launched midrange Note 13 series from Xiaomi.

It brings an upgraded design, a new and faster processor, a brighter and high-resolution screen, a bigger battery, and better cameras.

Redmi Note 13 Pro comes in a white box and inside you get the 67W power brick, Type-C charging cable, documentation, a silicon backcase, sim ejector tool and the phone itself.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G comes with IP54 ingress protection, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness over its predecessor’s 900 nits.

Other features include stereo speakers and now an under-display fingerprint reader instead of the side-mounted fingerprint reader of the 12 Pro.

Colour options include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Ocean Teal and Aurora Purple(Coral Purple).

The resolution has been upped to 1220 by 2712 pixels over the 1080 by 2400 pixel of the Note 12 Pro.

Redmi Note 13 Series: Five Reasons Why You Need to Upgrade

The 13 Pro has a new 200MP setup which is an upgrade over the 50MP from the 12 Pro. It comes equipped with OIS support. The other two cameras are an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. The rear cameras support video recording up to 1080p 30fps.

Battery capacity is increased from a 5000mAh battery to a 5100mAh battery with the same 67W fast charging.

Redmi Note 13 Pro has a Mediatek Helio G99 Ultra processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. You also get 8GB of Virtual RAM.

The phone comes with Android 13 and MIU 14. It will get three years of major Android updates.

Xiaomi is making a statement with the new Redmi Note 13 Pro. It has an improved design, a significantly brighter AMOLED screen that’s a delight to use, stellar performance, incredible cameras, standout battery life, and ultra-fast charging. All these features make the phone hold up well against rival midrange smartphones and you should consider checking it out.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is available at official Xiaomi stores, partner retail stores, Jumia, Ropem and Kilimall. Pricing starts from Ksh 41,999(8GB RAM + 256GB storage).

Xiaomi is also offering 25 months warranty and 6 months screen warranty.
