Airtel Kenya has launched unlimited 5G data plans. In a push to take advantage of the growing number of users with devices with 5G capability in the country. Airtel says they currently have over 690 5G sites nationwide and plan to roll out 300 5G sites across 39 counties over the year. Airtel launched their 5G network last year with 370 sites live at the time of launch.
Airtel has also slashed the price of its 5G home router from its current price of Kshs.10,000 to just Kshs.3,000 making it even more affordable for users who are looking to take advantage of the network. The router also has up to 5hrs of reserve battery power.
The plans come in three tiers – 10Mbps at Ksh 3,500 monthly, 20Mbps at Ksh 5,000 monthly, and 30Mbps at Ksh 6,500 monthly. To take advantage of the data plans you require the home router.

- You can get the router through any of the Airtel shops countrywide or by dialling *100# on your Airtel line

- Unlimited 10Mbps – 1TB
- Unlimited 20Mbps – 1.5TB
- Unlimited 30Mbps – 3TB
- Only one data plan can be consumed at a time. You can upgrade or downgrade the plan after you lapse the current plan
