Instagram seems to have added a new feature that lets you easily add text to your photos as you post them and stickers. This applies to both single-picture posts and carousels.
According to Instagram, this is designed to give users “the creative flexibility to make your content stand out and explore new, more entertaining, storytelling with photos and carousels”.
To do so, you simply have to tap on the text button after selecting your photos of choice from your gallery or tap the gallery button in the top right corner to add additional images as stickers. Tap on the sticker itself to change its shape – you can pick between rectangle, square, circle, heart, or star.
This new update comes about a month after the platform increased the limit of photos and videos in a carousel post to 20.
Instagram has been adding several other features to the platform recently including the ability to add song tracks on profile bios, and multiple tracks on reels among others.
