Known for his cinematic travel videos, Mr. Harper uses his passion for filmmaking to inspire audiences to explore the world and embrace creativity. According to the BBC, Mr. Harper admitted he was initially skeptical when he learned of his nomination.
“I thought it might have been a scam, but I read it a couple of times, and it was legit.” He said, “I never even expected to be nominated,” he added.
With a TikTok following of over 55,000, Mr. Harper has captivated viewers with stunning videos from locations like Barcelona, Marrakech, and Snowdonia.
“I go to these places to experience it for myself; my camera is just a way of capturing it,” he said.
Some of his clips have garnered over three million views. His approach is simple yet impactful.
“A lot of the questions I get from my videos are about how I do certain things; what camera am I using? How do I color grade? So it is very rewarding when I know I’m helping people out,” he shared.
The TikTok awards night featured a star-studded guest list, a red carpet, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other creators. For Mr. Harper, it was an unforgettable experience.
“It was a big night, red carpet, a lot of amazing creators, and a free bar as well,” he said.
