The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened applications for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) March 2026 intake. The window runs from January 7 to January 27, giving students just three weeks to apply.
This intake is for students who completed their KCSE in 2024 or earlier. If you’re waiting for 2025 KCSE results, you’ll need to wait for the September 2026 intake instead.

KMTC is offering 21 diploma programs and 9 certificate programs, all in health sciences.

How to Apply
- Log into the KUCCPS student portal at students.kuccps.ac.ke using your KCSE index number and year. Your password is either your birth certificate number or KCPE index number.
- Click on “KMTC Programmes” to see available courses and check if you meet the minimum requirements. The system only lets you apply for programs you qualify for.
- Select up to 4 programs and note their program codes.
- Go to “KMTC Application,” click “Apply Now,” and enter your codes in order of preference (your top choice first).

After submitting, you’ll pay KES 1,500 following the instructions on the portal. The deadline is January 27, 2026. Don’t wait until the last minute.
