Mid last month, Orange launched an offer for subscribers dubbed Holla. For ten Kenya Shillings, Orange subscribers would have access to free calls to Orange Mobile, free sms to Orange Mobile, 20 free smses to other networks, 10MB data and free access to favebook via Facebook Zero (0.facebook.com). Well, according to Telkom Kenya Chief Executive Mickael Ghossein, the deal was a shooter and have since decided to take it permanent.
The Holla bundle is targeted to the youth and this offer extension will be marked by giving free access to all active Orange users on pre-paid for all day(and night) Friday, 27th of April.
“Due to the positive response from Orange customers during the promotional period, we have decided to transform Holla into a permanent tariff. We are calling this the Open Orange Holla Day and encourage all our customers to enjoy the free subscription of 24 hours and share their feedback with us.” “Mobile telephony represents the larger platform through which people are accessing the internet and Orange is intent on making their usage as enriching and rewarding as possible,” said Ghossein.
