You will soon be seeing another device off the Galaxy range in the low end from Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Star, which surprisingly will come running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Mobile device manufacturers have been of late striving to get the latest OS even in the low end. The gap that was in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich vs Android 2.3 Gingerbread vs Android 2.2 Eclair is going down with more and more devices trying as much as possible to get close to the latest Android version as possible.
The Galaxy Star GT-S5282 will be a 3.0 inch device with QVGA display resolution, 2MP camera, 4GB internal storage, microSD support, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 1200mAh battery. According to Sammobile, the device will be announced at Mobile World Congress and sell in week 15.
