We have probably seen or heard enough rumours of this 8 inch tablet from Samsung, and the specs have been flying left, right and center, including the final product design. Well, earlier today Samsung made official the Galaxy Note 8, and the specs we had expected were in there. Of-course it’s 8 inch, the rest needed confirmation though.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes bundled with Samsung specific features like S Note, S Planner, Email with hand-writing integration, Quick Command, Easy Clip, Photo Note, Paper Artist, Allshare Play, Allshare Cast, Allshare Framework, Samsung Live Panel, Smart Stay, Direct call, Page Buddy, Tag Buddy, Word Buddy, CHatON 2.0, Game Hub, Readers Hub, Music Hub, Video Hub and Media Hub.
S Pen specific features include Airview, Pop-up Note, Pop-up Video, Shape Match, Idea Sketch, Awesome Note and Flipboard being the first bundled external app to come optimized for S Pen. It does have Airview functionality built in. Something else, the Galaxy Note 8 will be the first of the Note series to have the physical menu and back controls respond to the S Pen with a technology Samsung calls WACOM.
The 3G version of the Galaxy Note 8 has calling functionality while all have multi-screen technology which allows for resizeable screens and Smart remote that allows you to manage Tv, set-top boxes, DVDs and Blu-Ray players. There has been no word about the pricing and how many colours there will be at release which will happen globally in second quarter. The available press image is white.
