We are less than three hours away from the next Nokia announcement. Like they hinted in press material, various other hints and even leaks in the blogs, today is all about zooming and camera imaging showcasing from Espoo. Just a few minutes ago, (Does an hour and a half count as a few minutes?) we have come across this leak that has alleged Nokia Lumia 1020 specs, almost the whole hog.
These ones allege that the device has a 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack AMOLED display WXGA at 1280 x 768 and Gorilla Glass 3 on top. A 1.5 GHz dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor backed by 2GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage, would love to know what GPU this device comes carrying though. Of-course the rear camera is a 41 MP PureView with a back-side illuminated sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a Xenon flash while the front is said to be a 1.2 MP camera.
Interestingly, Nokia has on a 2000 mAh battery which I will be interested to see how it performs with the high resolution and power hogging camera. Nokia might have seen this coming and there is a camera grip that has been in the rumour mill also. Refer to image up here and others in this album. Maybe Nokia decided to keep that extra power on a separate device because of either costs or the device bulk, or both.
Do we believe this? We have less than three hours to make up our minds.
