Orange introduces Alcatel Idol OT 6030D, a 4.7 inch Android Smartphone in Kenya

Alcatel OT 6030d IdolAnnounced sometime in January this year and made available in markets from May, Alcatel OT-6030D has been made available in Orange Kenya stores. The device is a 4.7 inch dual microSIM one and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Below are the specifications of the Alcatel Idol:

  • 109 grams, 133 x 67.5 x 7.9mm dimensions
  • 1800 mAh non-removable battery (410 hrs standby, 3hrs talktime on 3G)
  • Availanility is in 5 colours, Silver, Slate, Pink, Red and Yellow

The device is selling at Ksh 24,359 ($289)at Orange stores in Kenya, essentially making it a very strong competitor to the Tecno Phantom A that is around that price point.

  1. Fonexpress has had this phone in stock for a while now. A friend bought it. Its a good phone. Its very light and has impressive features. One drawback is that it does not have noise cancellation.
