LG G3 is another device among those expected to go on stage come Q1 2014. It’s exected to be launched in Las Vegas in January at Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The device will come after a recent spate of trials and errors from LG after they dropped the Optimus name and decided to go with G. The G, G2 and now G3 remind one of the Galaxy S , Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III, although with lesser for the former sequence.
Design-wise the G series is a looker with the latest LG G2 trying to be daring with the buttons on the back including camera button. LG is ready to remove wraps off the next G and this is the LG G3 come January.Below are the expected specs according to ZDNet Korea:
- 5.5 inch LCD screen (2560 x 1440 pixels) – 538ppi
- Octa Core ARM Odin Processor by LG, 64-bit
- Cortex A50 Chip
- 16MP camera with OIS
Not much is out so far including what design to adopt though based on previous devices it won’t be far off from the G2. Also whether LG sticks with rear buttons will be a wait and see situation. We’ll keep our eyes peeled to see what else comes out before then.
