After its unveiling in September, Microsoft Surface 2 is now official and the tablet comes with LTE connectivity. The device is currently available at Microsoft retail and online stores at a cost of $679. It comes with internal storage of 64 GB, 10.6″ 1080 HD touchscreen, 1.7 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, 2GB memory, and 5MP rear camera. The Surface 2 can share its connection with other devices via WiFi.
According to Microsoft, the Surface 2 (LTE) has the same 10-hour battery life as the Wi-Fi only version. This is however subject to settings, usage and other factors, the 10-hours are therefore only applicable for video playback and internet browsing.
