LG has decided to go back to conventional tablet sizes with a new announcement. This one takes them to all the standard sized tablets, three of them. The South Korean company has basically announced they are quite serious with the tablets business by announcing the LG G Pad 7, G Pad 8 and G Pad 10.1.
Previously, LG had announced the G Pad 8.3, including a Google Play Edition G Pad 8.3. This was a rather unique sized tablet late last year at IFA in Berlin, but they seem to feel like it was a rather wrong move to stay with that alone. Even then, they announced the tablet before the actual launch event as they are known to do.
This makes the G Pad a full series of tablets and the three will be formerly unveiled at MedPI 2014 starting tomorrow 13th May in Monaco. According to LG, the G Pad 7 is designed to be held in one hand for portability and power, the G Pad 8 on the other hand is for immersive multimedia experience and smooth multitasking. The 10.1 inch G Pad 10.1 is said to be for entertainment.
Not much has been revealed in this announcement but we are only a day away from MedPI where LG will bare it all. Stay around and we will update you when the three get out of the cocoon.
