The latest James Bond film, Spectre, is expected in theatres before the year ends. Like in the last James Bond film, Skyfall, Sony products are expected to feature prominently thanks to the company’s partnership with the franchise. What we hadn’t known though was which exact Sony smartphone was going to be the James Bond smartphone. Thanks to the ‘Made for Bond’ advert posted on the Sony channel on YouTube, we now know.
The Xperia Z5 is this year’s Bond phone. The phone, unveiled in Berlin during IFA 2015, is available in several versions with the most talked about being the Xperia Z5 Premium that happens to be the first smartphone in the world to feature a 4K display.
The Xperia T was the Bond smartphone in the last Bond movie, Skyfall, in 2012.
