Sony may be releasing a successor to last year’s Xperia C5 Ultra soon if the leaked images below are anything to go by.
The device, whose identity is yet to be known but widely expected to be called the Xperia C6, will be considerably larger with a 6-inch HD display, just like the C5. It is expected to pack a MediaTek processor, have dual-SIM support and an updated camera with front-facing LED flash.
With leaks emerging this early, it is likely the device will be launched by August, exactly a year since the C5 Ultra was introduced to the world. With renewed focus on the mid-range category of devices by other device makers like LG (with the K series) and Samsung (with the Galaxy A series), Sony Mobile will be counting on the C series to cover up for any shortcomings in the sales of its new high-end X series.
