Samsung Galaxy C Series May Debut on May 26th

We’ve been hearing a lot about Samsung’s Galaxy C series in the last few weeks. While its existence is still a mystery and it is yet to be confirmed by the company, that has not stopped alleged images of the Galaxy C5 and C7 from appearing in the wild. And now we may have a launch date.

Invites are being sent to members of the tech press in China for an unspecified event by the company on May 26th. With hardly any already available device pending release in the country, the devices awaiting launch may as well be those in the Galaxy C series.

So far, it is not clear where the Galaxy C series will fall in Samsung’s device pecking order. If it will comprise budget smartphones then where does it lie when the Galaxy J and E devices come into the picture? And the upper mid-range Galaxy A series? It will make a lot of sense if the Galaxy C series is a China exclusive as that will likely help clear up the confusion but if the said date is when the devices actually go official then we will get to know more about that.
