X-Tigi is a brand that Kenyans would say “wametoka mbali” (somewhat translated to “they’ve really improved”). The mobile phone company was in the past best known for power-bank phones for those way off the power grid to have mobile phones that could last weeks. And they sold very many units.

They got into the smartphone game a while back and have been making quite an impact in the entry level smartphone space for the mass market.

Now they have phones with specs sheets that would definitely challenge the more dominant players. Remember the X-Tigi Vision 6 with a Virtual Reality Headset in the box?
The Inspire 3 is the latest flagship smartphone from X-Tigi, and it is a device that you should pay attention to, especially if you are in the market for an affordable phone with great specs.

4G LTE On board

The metal finish on the device feels good in the hand, the 2.5D glass at the front compliments the slightly curved edges and the added fingerprint reader at the back (where all phones should have them), makes this phone stand-out from the competition. It has a hybrid sim tray, thus you could have two sim cards in or have one sim card and use the second tray for your Micro SD Card. The Inspire 3 also supports 4G LTE, to cater for those with the need for speed.

I haven’t spent much time with the device but I was surprised at how fast the fingerprint reader works. It is an always-on reader, meaning it works even with the display is off. It is a secure and reliable way of protecting our devices from snoopers and every manufacturer should not have an excuse for excluding this feature.

The 13MP camera at the back, coupled with the 8MP front camera, make sure that users get decent enough photos to share on social media. For the selfie junkies, the front camera has a front LED flash, for those low-light shots.

Powering the X-Tigi Inspire 3 is a 3200mAh battery that is sure to last you through out the day and with Quick Charge support, you will definitely have no worries juicing up your phone.
Other specifications of the Inspire 3 include:

Display5.5" HD IPS
Memory3GB RAM + 16GB Internal + Micro SD Card support
Camera13MP Main + 8MP Selfie camera with flash
SoftwareAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow
Battery3200mAh with Quick Charge
NetworkHybrid Dual Sim, 4G LTE
ExtrasFingerprint reader

The phone retails for KES. 14,500 ($140), which is quite impressive going by what we have in the market from their competiton. Below are a few more images to satisfy your eyes:
