OPPO F3 With Dual Selfie Camera Coming to Kenya, Pre-Orders Open Soon

OPPO fans will be delighted to know that the company’s first ever smartphone with dual selfie cameras is making its way into the Kenyan market. The F series of smartphones, is OPPO’s avenue to showcase their selfie revolution.

The F3 hits the Kenyan market almost a month after the company introduced the OPPO A57, which is also selfie-focused.

According to OPPO, the new F3 comes with “excellent group selfie, distortion minimizing features and beautify function to allow users capture group selfies with an increase field of view”.

The OPPO F3 dual selfie camera sports a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. Users can choose which lens they want to use while taking selfies, additionally, the smartphone comes with a Smart Facial Recognition feature that OPPO says automatically suggests which lens is ideal for a particular selfie.

“Selfies and group selfies reflect how people, especially the younger generation are socializing and sharing their lives with each other.” Said Mr. Andrew Peng, OPPO KENYA CEO. “The new F3 will be another selfie expert to transform selfies and group selfies to more natural, beautiful, and most importantly, much easier to capture, even when taking with a large group of people.

The OPPO F3 has a 5.5-inch FHD (1080*1920) IPS 2.5D curved display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T processor, a 3200mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a fingerprint reader embedded in its home button, dual-SIM capabilities and runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

OPPO Kenya will also be opening up pre-orders for the device, a first for the company. There are no details about the pricing or when the pre-orders will start. All we know is that the phone will go on sale on 15th May 2017, so just hold on to your money.
