Fans of the Note series will be pleased to know that they do not have to wait really long before they can get their hands on the next Galaxy Note.
Just like the Galaxy S8, rumours of the Note 8 have not been scarce. Evan Blass aka evleaks, has been very generous when it comes to letting us know what the Note 8 will be packing.
First things first, the launch date is supposedly set for August 23 and the venue is in New York City. The device is said to pack a slightly larger than the S8+, 6.3-inch SuperAMOLED infinity display with a resolution of 1440*2960 in an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
The size of the Note 8 does not differ much from the S8+, aside from the squared-off corners, as is always the tradition with the Note lineup.

The Note 8 will be powered by the same processor found in the S8/S8+ duo, the Exynos 8895 and Snapdragon 835 in the US models. Something to make the fans extremely happy, the Note 8 will come with 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and an SD card slot.
The cherry on top is the Note 8’s dual camera setup. Both will be 12MP, with a wide-angle lens with an f1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, while the telephoto lens is f2.4 and enables a 2x optical zoom, just like the iPhone 7 Plus. The selfie camera is an 8MP shooter with an f1.7 autofocus lens to aid in low-light selfies.
The battery size is said to be 3300mAh, with fast charging delivered via USB-C or wirelessly. Other specifications include Bixby voice assistant, the S-Pen stylus AKG earphones and it will also work with Samsung Dex.
At launch, the Note 8 will be available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold with other colour options such as Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue coming later on.
The hardest bit to swallow is its close to 1,000 dollars price tag, but that won’t be a problem for the affluent among you.
