Last month, Huawei announced the P30 series of smartphones, which are their latest flagships with a huge focus on the cameras. Their cameras are a step up from the P20 series they announced last year and they have aroused a huge interest with the sort of technology they have packed in these phones.
The phone could be bought on launch day but we had to wait and see when it would be brought to the country. Huawei teased later on that the P30 series of phones would be launched in mid April and now we have a confirmation date.

According to Huawei, the P30 series of smartphones will be launched on 10 April which is literally next week on Wednesday. The P30 series include the top of the range P30 Pro, the P30 and the P30 lite.
The move to launch these phones to the market signifies that Huawei is quite optimistic that there is a market for them to sell their high end phones to the Kenyan market.
The P30, P30 Pro and the P30 lite have an updated design when you compare with the P20 series launched last year. They all have notched screens and colourful backs that have gradient finishes. The main differences are the types of cameras you get, where the P30 Pro features the cream of the crop set with the new periscope telephoto camera, the P30 gets the same set as the Mate 20 and the P30 lite gets a midrange triple camera system at the back.
