Google Has an Actual Graveyard for Its Dead Products

Halloween is around the corner and is a time to celebrate the spooky. Google is also in a mood for this season and they’re celebrating in a very weird way at least for its Seattle campus.

On its campus is a cemetery of Google’s products that got shut down and it will make you feel sad as you reminisce these products.

There has been sites that track which products Google has killed such as this one that aptly goes by and Google Cemetry. Well, Google made an actual graveyard showcasing said products it has killed off including Google Picasa, Google Plus(with a noticeably large gravestone), Reader, Google Wave, Buzz and Orkut. Inbox by Gmail and Google’s other numerous messaging apps are sadly missing.

The only product that transitioned to something important was Picasa that survives as Google Photos. Google Play Music is heading that was at least for some users who noticed the app is absent when they search for it on the Play Store.

Google will be shipping new devices running Android 10 with YouTube Music as the default music app.
