Huawei Kenya will soon be launching the Huawei Y6p, its latest device in the budget Y series.
The Huawei Y6p follows the launch of Huawei Y7p and the Huawei Y6s.
The Huawei Y6p will come with a 6.3″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels.
Under its hood will be a Mediatek Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The storage is expandable with an external MicroSD card up to 512 GB.
Huawei Y6s comes with Android 10 and EMUI 10.1. This is an upgrade from the Huawei Y6s that came with EMUI 9.1 and Android 9 Pie.
But like the Huawei Y7p, the Huawei Y6p comes lacking support for Google’s apps and services. You get Huawei Mobile Services and apps are available through Huawei AppGallery.
Huawei Y6p rocks a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 13 MP (f/1.8 aperture), 5 MP (Wide Angle Lens f/2.2 aperture) and a 2 MP (f/2.4 aperture) lens.
There’s an 8MP selfie camera at the front housed in the teardrop notch.
Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery.
The Huawei Y6p will come in three colours: Emerald Green, Phantom Purple and Midnight Black.
Huawei is kicking off pre-orders today(15TH June) and run for the whole week until 20th June.
