The other day, it was revealed that Jambojet would take Bong Points as payment for local flights.
The airline has today announced it will start direct flights from Mombasa to Eldoret and Kisumu.
This development comes after an approval by the KCAA.
Jambojet says that direct flights to the two towns will start on October 2, 2020.
The introductory fee will be KES 8900 one way for each route.
Interested customers can book their ticket via all existing distribution channel, including the Jamboject website, sales officers, call centre and progressive web app.
Jambojet will operate the two routes every Friday and Sunday, with the Mombasa-Eldoret and Kisumu flight departing from Mombasa at 13.15 to arrive in Eldoret at 15.05 and in Kisumu at 15.55. The flight will depart Eldoret at 15.25, and from Kisumu at 16.15 to arrive in Mombasa at 18.05.
The airline has since introduced key safety and health measures. It restarted operations on 15th July, 2020 and currently flies to six local destinations namely Malindi, Ukunda, Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret from its hub in Nairobi.
