Huawei Mobile Kenya has today kicked off a one week preorder campaign for its Watch Fit smartwatch which will be soon available on retail stores.
The Huawei Watch Fit will retail for Kshs 11,999 and the company says it will come with a free umbrella when you pre-order from any retail store.
“If the person you are planning to gift is into sports and fitness then they would absolutely love the HUAWEI WATCH FIT. You can now pre-order Huawei’s first ever smart sports watch with a stylish large HD rounded rectangular face and a 10 day battery life,” Huawei Mobile Kenya Country Head jim Zhujie said.
The WatchFit is a striking smartwatch from Huawei. It has a 1.64 inch 456×280 touchscreen AMOLED display with a button on the side. It has a number of sensors which includes an accelerometer, gyroscope and an optical heart rate sensor. It also features 2.4Ghz Bluetooth 5.0 as well as GPS. It is water resistant upto 5 atmospheres (50 meters) which is quite standard in the watch world.
The one feature that Huawei touts about the smartwatch is its ridiculous battery life. Huawei says it will net you 10 days of battery life if you use it to track your sleep, track your heart rate, check the screen 200 times a day and get 50 messages, 3 calls and 3 alarms as well as work out 30 minutes within 24 hours. If you up the ante to checking 500 times a day and workout for 60 minutes.
