Delete These Adware-Ridden Apps If You Have Them Installed

Malicious apps have started showing up in official app stores either the Google Play store or the Apple App store irrespective of these companies efforts to keep them off.

These malicious apps have now started copying genuine popular apps including their names and descriptions. When they are downloaded, these apps bombard its users with unwanted, annoying, unauthorized and out of context pop-up ads.

White Ops Satori Threat Intelligence and Research Team investigated these “CopyCatz” apps and recently came out with a comprehensive report under the title “Imitation is the sincerest form of fraudery” detailing these apps which they shared with Google to remove these adware-ridden apps.

The tech giant has since booted them out of the Play Store but if you have them installed, delete them immediately!!
