In the past few years, OPPO has steered away from launching its flagship devices in the country and stuck with launching the Reno and A series of smartphones. The latest smartphones the company has launched in the country have been the Reno7 series which includes the Reno7 5G and the Reno7 4G.
The last time we saw a flagship launch in the country was in 2018 and 2019 with the OPPO Find X and the Reno 10X Zoom.
We missed out on the Find X2 from 2020 and Find X3 from last year. If you’ve been wanting to get their latest flagship – well, you’re in luck as OPPO is bringing the Find X5 to the country.
OPPO Find X5 is the company’s ultimate camera smartphone packing a ton of photography features including 4K Ultra Night Video recording.
It brings with it a triple camera setup and rocks the company’s in-built Marisilicon X image signal processor. It borrows a leaf from its sister brand OnePlus and partnered with Hasselblad for picture colour processing.
Other features include a 6.55″ AMOLED screen rocking a 120Hz refresh rate with support for HDR10+.
It will ship with Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1.
OPPO Find X5 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G and Adreno 660 GPU paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage starting at 128GB to 256GB.
The triple camera setup includes 50MP main, 13MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide aided with a 32MP selfie camera.
OPPO Find X5 has a 4800mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging and 30W fast wireless charging.
The launch is happening later this week.
