OPPO has today launched the OPPO A77s which joins its other midrange smartphones in the Kenyan market. OPPO A77s rocks a 6.5″ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. Its resolution is capped at 720p.

At the helm is the Snapdragon 680 chipset which we’ve seen in many midrange smartphones under the 30K mark in Kenya. It is paired with Adreno 610 GPU and 8GB of RAM. OPPO A77s has 5GB virtual RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage expandable with an external microSD card.

We have Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1 straight out of the box.

For optics, the OPPO A77s has a dual setup at the back with a 50MP primary and 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP selfie camera. Video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps for both front and main.

Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

OPPO A77s comes in Sunset Orange and Starry Black.

It is available for Ksh 29,999 at OPPO’s retail stores and Jumia.

OPPO #A77sFootballMoments

OPPO has partnered up with football star David “cheche” Ochieng in their #A77sFootballMoments campaign set to inspire Kenyan football fans to capture their most memorable and inspirational football moments this football season.

OPPO is calling upon Kenyan football fans to take part in the #A77sFootballMomments challenge and stand a chance to win an OPPO A77s.

To participate, fans can capture their perfect moments, showing off a cool football move, follow @OPPOKenya Instagram and Facebook page, and post these moments with the hashtag #A77sFootballMoments from 5th December 2022 to December 18th 2022. With two OPPO A77s phones up for grabs, winners will be chosen based on their level of creativity so the more creative a user is when capturing these moments, the higher their chance to win!

“The love of football inspires many people, including Kenyans, and technological improvements enable us to watch and record games with pocket-sized gadgets, turning those fleeting moments of inspiration into everlasting memories. With the latest addition to the OPPO A series, A77s fans get a chance to capture their most memorable moments while experiencing long-lasting battery, stylish design and powerful imaging capabilities,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager, OPPO Kenya.
