TECNO came back to its flagship roots with the launch of the Phantom X last year after being out of the game for a while.
It was a great comeback as the flagship packed the top specs when it came to the screen and cameras. It featured a less powerful processor and the company wants to change that with its successor, the Phantom X2.
TECNO Phantom X2 will run on MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G chipset which will be a huge upgrade over MediaTek Helio G95 that powered the Phantom X from last year.
Although launched last year, the Dimensity 9000 still holds up really well as it can go head-to-head with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in terms of benchmark scores. It is built on a 4nm process that is also used on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Apple A16.
