With the year coming to an end in just a few weeks, it’s best that we reflect on what the year 2022 has been as we look forward to what 2023 brings along. One aspect that we can reflect on is what we searched for during the year on the Internet.
According to data released by Google, there were different Kenyans who were really interested in the new Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Searches such as “Who is Rigathi Gachagua” and “Rigathi Gachagua’s father” were among some of the most searched questions. Kenyans also showed interest in the Azimio la Umoja running mate Martha Karua after she was picked by Raila Odinga as his running mate. Among other searches were George Wajackoyah, Juliana Cherera, and Johnson Sakaja. Top trending local personalities were mostly political figures mainly because 2022 was an election year.
