Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has announced the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) placement for students who sat for their KCSE in 2022. The 2023/2024 placement will have 285,167 candidates placed to pursue degree and TVET courses across various institutions in the country.
2022 KCSE candidates check their placement results in two ways: Online via the KUCCPS portal or SMS
How to check your KUCCPS placement results via SMS.
According to KUCCPS, you can check your placement results via SMS by sending your index number starting with KCSE year to 20842. You should NOT include any space, or slash(/).
Example of correct format: 20221234567812.
It is important to note that SMS charges will apply.

You can also check your placement results online via the KUCCPS portal. To do so follow the following steps:
- Log in to the KUCCUPS student portal.
- Enter your KCSE Index Number.
- Type your password.
- Finally, click go.
