Infinix is planning to announce the Smart 8 series. The Smart lineup is the company’s most affordable device and the Smart 8 will be the latest smartphone and will succeed the Smart 7 series launched early this year.
Infinix Smart 8 comes with 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage with the option to expand the RAM with 3GB of Virtual RAM.
It comes running on a Unisoc T606 processor. Infinix Smart 8 will have Android 13 and XOS 13 as well.
Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
For cameras, it sports a 5MP selfie camera and a 13MP dual main camera setup which includes a depth sensor.
Other features include a fingerprint reader on the camera island and face unlock for biometrics.
Smart 8 will come in various colours including Polar Black, Coastal Green, Iceland White and Peacock Blue.
Pricing is expected to start from Ksh 11,000.
