Infinix Zero lineup has undergone various iterations and updates over the years.
The Zero series is the company’s flagship device range and they have made impressive steps – from performance, design, battery life and most importantly – its cameras.
The recently launched Zero 30 5G ticks off all those checkboxes and some more. That said, the Zero 30 5G is one of the best flagship smartphones you can buy in Kenya right now.
Infinix Made the Zero 30 5G Too Good
The Zero 30 has a 108MP primary camera with object image stabilization(OIS), a 13 MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. It also has a 50MP selfie camera. All cameras now shoot 4K 60fps video.
But before we talk video, how good is the Zero 30 in taking photos?
The cameras feel snappy and take fantastic flagship-level shots even in low light. The photos are sharp, well-detailed and colourful with decent saturation, dynamic range and exposure. The portraits are excellent including selfies too.
I loved the lowlight shots. You will get pleasing photos when the sun sets.
Here are some samples:
But it’s the video recording capabilities that impressed me. The ability to shoot 4K on both rear and front cameras is one content creators will love. The exposure, the saturation, the dynamic range, the sharpness – I really enjoyed taking videos with the Zero 30. It’s worth noting that there’s an ultra-steady mode that captures video 1080p at 30fps for both front and rear cameras.
Besides normal video modes, you get cinema-style vlog templates with themes ranging from sport, street, family, vintage, travel and more.
Speaking of vlogs, Infinix launched their Mobile Vlog Awards 2023 and they have invited consumers to participate by submitting their vlog creations taken by the Zero 30 5G to win prizes including getting creative support for the winners by Infinix.
Overall, the Zero 30 5G brings the heat with its versatile camera system and the performance is great in most scenarios. It’s a camera champ in my eyes. Our full review will be out in a few days.
Infinix has yet to announce its local pricing but we’ll update you when they do.
