Infinix’s long-awaited flagship smartphone is finally here. The Infinix Zero 30 5G was launched last night in Venice, Italy.
Infinix has added a lot of heavy armour to its flagship device – ranging from its design, the cameras and performance. The highlights of the phone are the new and upgraded main and selfie cameras.

The Infinix Zero 30 5G has a 108MP triple camera setup with OIS(Object Image Stabilization) and a 50MP selfie camera and both can shoot 4K 60fps video. Besides normal video modes, you get cinema-style vlog templates with themes ranging from sport, street, family, vintage, travel and more.
We now finally have a camera-centric flagship for vlogging especially for young consumers.
We also get a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor.

The design is premium-grade as we get a glass back and an eco-leather version. The Eco-leather version comes in Rome Green colour. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protects the glass version. Other colours include Golden Hour and Fantasy Purple.
The phone has dual stereo speakers – one at the bottom and a top one. You also get a secondary microphone on top as well.
Biometrics include a face unlock and an in-display fingerprint reader.
The phone has a curved slim profile for easy handling going all the way to the screen. it comes in at 185g so you can use it comfortably with one hand.
Speaking of the screen, the Zero 30 5G has a 6.78-inch 10-bit 144Hz curved(60-degree) AMOLED screen with support for HDR10 and a brightness of 950 nits. It also sports 360Hz refresh rate.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance.

A 5000mAh battery is packed inside with support for 68W ultra-fast charging. Infinix says you can get to 80% from empty in half an hour.

Infinix Zero 30 5G goes for $339 which is really affordable in terms of the value it comes with. We expect it to cost around Ksh 50,000 to 55,000 but we’ll update this article with local pricing from Infinix Kenya.
