Just when the world is still trying to come to terms with the iPhone 16 lineup that was launched in September, it seems like Apple is not done for the year yet.
New rumours have come out suggesting that an October Apple event is around the corner, where the company will be announcing a few new and updated products. The event is speculated to focus more on the Mac and iPad lineups alongside other Apple accessories. The MacBook Pro has been waited upon to receive new updates with whispers of new M-series chips being on the way.
The rumours seem to hold ground as we have seen Apple develop a pattern of hosting one last event for the year in October, dating all the way back to 2018. However, one can only take these rumours with a pinch of salt since the company didn’t hold similar events in 2019 or 2022. So, there is some inconsistency in the pattern.
The M4 chip has been speculated by industry insiders for months now to be arriving this year so it is normal to assume that the MacBook Pro will be the first device powered by it. Unfortunately, do not expect any huge design changes as the last time the chassis was updated was in 2021.
The iPad is also expected to receive upgrades even though there has been little excitement among Apple fans around the lineup with every little change coming in when it comes to design or software.
