BITmarkets announced the launch of its peer-to-peer (P2P) trading feature, allowing users to buy and sell USDT directly with one another — bypassing traditional banking intermediaries.
The service offers a competitive and transparent fee structure designed to keep transaction costs lower than standard banking fees, making it a cost-effective option for fiat-to-crypto conversion.

The feature is designed to make converting between fiat currencies — such as EUR or USD — and crypto more accessible, flexible, and cost-effective.
Security is central to the product’s design. Every trade is protected by a built-in escrow system that locks the seller’s USDT at the start of a transaction and releases funds only after both parties confirm the payment has been completed. In the event of a dispute, BITmarkets’ dedicated support team provides arbitration based on payment receipts, chat records, and transaction history.
All P2P participants are required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification, and trader profiles display completion rates, response times, and feedback scores — giving users the information they need to trade with confidence. Most trades on the platform are typically settled within 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the chosen payment method.
