Youtube has decided to celebrate the 57th birthday of the Ampex VRX-1000 by adding an option for it on its videos. The “Enable Tape Mode” button is on the bottom right of the player recreates the era of whirring and unreliable videos. The videos on Youtube’s native channels already feature this option.
