“It is a sad day for the MultiChoice Africa family and the continent at large as we mourn the passing of one of Africa’s greatest leaders, Nelson Mandela.
We pay our respects to an unassuming leader of a global movement to end human rights injustices.
Today as we honour and pay tribute to his legacy, we are reminded of the power of forgiveness, peace and reconciliation and the resilience of the human spirit.
Through his life, Africa continues to be inspired for social change and to emulate his selfless leadership and moral compass.
The loss of such an iconic figure will be felt for a very long time.
Madiba, as he is affectionately known, has left an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of millions of people in the continent and the world over.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mandela Family and the entire continent as we mourn the loss of one of Africa’s greatest leaders.”
