Microsoft OneDrive for Business Users Gets 1TB Upgrade

OneDriveFrom the 25GB capacity per user, Microsoft OneDrive for Business will now be offering 1TB at the price of $2.50 per month. The same capacity is available from Box at $15 per user per month, compared to this Redmond is bound to get ahead on the cloudy storage race after the latest announcement. Further OneDrive has the advantage of collaborative features offered by Office 365 and the Seattle-based company promises more social features.

OneDrive offers up to 7GB on its free storage package with the option of up scaling this through an annual payment or through subscription to Office 365. The announcement for 1TB storage will be open to Office 365 ProPlus customers. Customers who need help migrating to their data to the new solution will have to contact Microsoft partners for more information although the upgrades becomes generally available from July.
