We’ve just seen the Galaxy E series of smartphones unveiled by Samsung in India at an event to introduce Galaxy A series devices in that market. Looks like this unexpected way of new devices showing up at Galaxy A series launch events didn’t end there because a new device, the Galaxy A7 was spotted at an event in Malaysia to launch the A3 and A5 smartphones. There has been talk of the device’s existence in the rumour mill for the last few weeks. The device was reportedly available for previewing during the event.
The which has the unibody design of the Galaxy E5 and E7 is expected to sport a 5.5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip, 16 GB internal storage, 2600 mAh battery and have LTE radios as well. It is expected to be the thinnest of the Galaxy A series smartphones at just 6.3 mm.
The A7 is expected in the Malaysian market starting next month.
