Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S6, unlike last year’s S5, lacks water proofing capabilities. As was widely anticipated, its Active sibling will fill in for it in that department. Thanks to Sammobile’s constant digging and prodding of its internal sources, we now know something about the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S6 Active.
It will retain all the technical specifications of the Galaxy S6 save for a bigger body frame, more weight and of course more room to hold a much bigger battery. A 3500mAh unit is what will power the rugged king.
While availability in other markets is something we don’t know at this point, the leaked model number all but confirms that the US’s AT&T will be among among the first to offer the device to its clients.
