The 2016 edition of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A has been listed on the company’s German website complete with all details. The device, already expected to be released anytime thanks to various leaks in previous weeks, has a 7-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) LCD display.
Other specifications include 8 gigabytes internal storage which is expandable up to 200 GB through a memory card; 8.7mm thick and weighs in at 283g. Additionally, there’s a 5-megapixel camera at the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front, 1.5 GB RAM, a 4,000mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
While last year’s Galaxy Tab A had a bigger 9.7-inch display, it is not yet clear if the same will make it this year though it is certainly expected. The 7-inch 2016 Galaxy Tab A will arrive with no support for cellular networks (i.e. Wi-Fi only) at least for now in black and white colour options.
