Huawei’s second tablet in 3 months has shown up in a rather unceremonial way. By way of an early leak indicating an inevitable launch. The usual official listing on Huawei’s main product site is yet to happen. The Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro features stepped down specifications over those of the MediaPad M2 10.0 announced in January at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), around which time the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro also leaked but went unmentioned.
It is the successor to the MediaPad T1 10 from last year.
The MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro as its name suggests, has a 10.1-inch WXUGA (1,920×1,200 pixels) IPS display, a Snapdragon 615 chipset, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel selfie camera, a 6,660mAh battery and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
It will be available in various memory configurations. There will be 2 GB RAM/ 16 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB internal storage option. Other variations will be pegged on the network configuration with LTE+Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi only models being made available. It will go on sale for EUR 280 for the Wi-Fi-only model and EUR 350 for the LTE version in white and black colours.
