Tecno will soon start selling its latest smartphone, the Camon C9, in Kenya. The company has opened pre-orders for the device. The pre-orders can be placed in several Tecno brand shops in Nairobi by paying Kshs 5,000 upfront [more details here]. The pre-order period started last Friday and runs through to Thursday, June 23rd, the eve of the device’s local launch.
The Tecno Camon C9 packs a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage (expandable), a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor, a 3,000mAh battery, LTE and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HiOS on top. In keeping with its series name, the Camon C9 also has two 13-megapixel cameras on both the front and the back.
The device will also be the first to come with out-of-the-box support for Tecno’s new smart bracelet, the T-Band.
