Tinder has been testing various ways to earn money from its users by giving them an elevated user experience to the one they are already used to in the “free tier.”
Well they have decided to roll out another tier, Tinder Gold and according to the company, it will offer a “first class experience”
Tinder Gold will offer features like passport, rewind, unlimited likes, five Super Likes per day, one Boost per month to surface your profile and more profile controles.
However, the most interesting feature is the “Likes You Feature” which will show you who likes you before you swipe. “Think of it as your personal Swipe Right concierge — available 24/7– bringing all of your pending matches to you,” Tinder says in the post.
If you end up subscribing to Tinder Gold, there is a simple way to know who likes you before you swipe. Look for the gold heart with three stripes at the top of the match list which shows you the number of likes you got. From your Likes You grid, you can be able to click on a person’s profile, learn more about him/her. Gold subscribers will be able to see the people who liked them thanks to the gold heart next to their name.
Tinder Gold will be available to users in the free tier and Tinder Plus users, where the latter actually pay a certain fee to use some pro features like Rewind, Passport, Unlimited Likes and Extra Super Likes. Tinder is rolling out Tinder Gold to iOS users worldwide
