To celebrate a number of key milestones after transitioning from Orange in mid-2017, Telkom Kenya has launched one of Kenya’s biggest promotion that will see 50 lucky subscribers win a car every day for the next 10 weeks.
Dubbed Form ni 50, the campaign will award winners with a Toyota Belta as part of the telco’s plan to appeal to more mobile users. At 3.8 million subscribers, Telkom Kenya needs a number of new customers to hit the 4 million mark, cementing its place as a key telecoms operator in the country.
At the launch of the campaign at Telkom Plaza, Mr. Levi Nyakundi who heads the operator’s marketing department highlighted the company’s upward trajectory as reported by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) thanks to its affordable data, voice and SMS plans/products.
“Since June last year, when we launched our new brand, we have recorded a surge in subscriber numbers. Our goal remains to continually grow these numbers and drive usage by consistently delivering real value to our subscribers, as well as through sustained investment in infrastructure to deliver the best network quality,” said Mr. Nyakundi.
“2017 saw us complete the first phase of our National backbone and metropolitan transmission network and invest KSh5 billion towards network modernisation leading to the launch of our 4G network, which is currently available in 32 towns and urban centres across the country. Telkom has also doubled its capacity and coverage on its 3G Network, improving our customer experience. We also revamped our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and are also continually working on increasing our retail outlets to provide great customer experience,” he added.
The Top Up and Win promotion is open to all Telkom Prepaid subscribers. All they need to do is top up their lines with a minimum of KES 20 of airtime (for a single entry) to earn a single entry for daily draws.

Top-up is not restricted to cards as other options will still earn entries. However, since a winner will be announced each day via a phone call, entries will be valid for 24 hours (from midnight to 11.59 PM). Lastly, it is worth noting that higher entries will increase chances of winning.
