Demo Africa has announced the winning startups for their 7th edition of DEMO Africa 2018 in Casablanca, Morocco. The even took four days and they were able to witness a stellar lineup of startups from all over the continent.
The five winners of the 7th DEMO Africa edition include:
- Chefaa (Egypt)
- Khourtim (Morocco)
- VertoFX (Nigeria)
- Hawkar (Tunisia)
- Complete Farmer (Ghana)
The winners till join other international startups in Silicon Valley for the 2019 edition of the Lions@frica Innovation tour and will continue to advance their various aspects of their venture creation activities.
“Every year, DEMO Africa finalists get the chance of a lifetime when they showcase their innovations during the main event. they also get global exposure by networking with corporate acquires, trade and mainstream media, venture capitalists, angel investors and other entrepreneurs attending the conference,” Harry Hare, Founder at DEMO Africa said.

In addition to the announcement of the five winning startups, all of the thirty startup finalists were fast tracked to the technical review stage of the Innovation Impact Giant Program organized by the Dubai 2020 Expo.
That was not the only thing happening during this edition of DEMO Africa 2018. There were keynotes, fireside chats and panel discussions. The thirty startup finalist participated in a two day bootcamp to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the business ecosystems and venture environments.
