In this episode of TekItnGo, we take an overview of the Infinix S4, the company’s latest ‘S’ series smartphone which has a particular focus on camera.
In the video, Martin Githinji takes you on a fun overview of the Infinix S4 features which will give you a visual feel of what you are getting with this smartphone that retails for Kshs 13,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Kshs 18,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant.
Housekeeping first to the readers that are not aware of this phone, Infinix Mobile announced the Infinix S4 smartphone in April and this budget smartphone was solely geared to shake up this segment with its cameras.
It has the arsenal of features that you will find on smartphones at this price range: A 6.2 inch 1500 x 720p IPS display, 3 or 6GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, 4000mAh battery, Mediatek Helio P22 octacore processor, 32MP selfie camera and of course a triple primary camera system (13MP main, 8MP wide angle and 2MP depth sensor).
We recently reviewed the Infinix S4 and we found out a number of positive things. The display is vibrant and with decent sunlight legibility. The performance was good and this is with the 3GB RAM variant. It handled mobile gaming relatively well with no hassle. The battery life is great since it has a massive 4000mAh unit
The surprising thing about the phone was the cameras and it should be since this is a camera centric Infinix phone. You get a wide angle camera at this price range which is great if you want to capture more in the shot. The most surprising thing was how it was good in lowlight where photos came out well and with pleasing colours. Most phones at this price range have cameras that fail to capture colours in their entirety as the light goes down so this was a great thing to find out.
