The Infinix S5 was launched in other markets some time back and it is the latest S branded smartphone from the company. It has not been formally launched in Kenya yet but you can actually preorder it in the country.
The Infinix S5 is up for preorder in Kenya through their Xpark website. The Infinix has S5 a preorder price of Kshs 16,499. If you pre-order the smartphone, you will get free bluetooth wireless earphones which is a nice perk to get.
The S5 has an Infinity-O display which is a 6.6″ HD+ display with a 90.5% screen to body ratio. The hole punch display makes it stand out from the crowd due to the lack of a notch.
The Infinix S5 is in the family of Infinix phones that they market for the selfie takers out there. It has a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens that combines 4 pixels into one to take better detailed selfies. At the back, we have a 16MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP low light sensor. you can also use the ultrawide camera to take macro shots.
The phone is powered by a Mediatek Heli P22 SoC and has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can expand that internal storage with a microSD card of upto 256GB.
The S5 also has a generous 4000mAh battery which has become the norm in 2019 smartphones. It runs on Android Pie with Infinix’s XOS skin running on top of it.
