Huawei has announced today that they will soon launch the nova7i to the Kenyan market after the successful launch of the Nova 5T.
According to the company, the device will e available in the market towards the end of May and will be sold in Jumia and select stores around the country.
“Huawei nova7i is an entertainment mid-range device suitable for millennials and Gen-Z alike. Norr only does it have a sleep look and feel, but it also encompasses unparalleled photography features, a large 4,200mAh battery, and the outstanding 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge,” Huawei Mobile Kenya Country Head, Jim Zhujie said.
The Huawei nova7i packs a lot of cool features. It is powered by Huawei’s very own Kirin 810 chip. This Kirin chip is more powerful than the Snapdragon 730 that you see on midrange Android smartphones. it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory that can be expanded with Huawei’s proprietary NM SD card. It has a 1080p LCD display that is 6.4 inches across.
It also has 4 cameras at the back. There is the main 48MP camera, an 8MP ultra wide, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. The selfie camera is a 16MP unit.
The coolest bit about it is the fact that you can charge that 4200mAh battery quickly with the 40W charger. Fast charging is always welcome and it is nice that this phone supports one of the quicker forms we have on the market.
The nova7i ships with EMUI 10 based on Android 10. This phone, just like the Huawei Y7p doesn’t ship with Google Services and uses Huawei Mobile Services instead.
This announcement follows an earlier announcement where the company said they will launch their flagship P40 series in the Kenyan market.
