vivo has today launched the vivo V19, their camera-centric smartphone in Kenya.
vivo V19 launched today joins its siblings – vivo V17 Pro and vivo Y19 launched late last year and early this year respectively.
vivo V19 sports a 6.4 Super AMOLED display with FHD+ with Ultra O screen design.
The display is interrupted at the top right with the dual punch-hole selfie cameras. The selfie setup includes a 32MP and 8MP front-facing cameras.
The selfie camera setup supports wide-angle selfies of up to 105 degrees, with a built-in AI algorithm that can independently correct wide-angle distortion between foreground and background for authentic and dazzling shots.
vivo V19 also comes with Ultra-Stable Selfie Video feature, bringing a new level of stability to wide-angle selfie videos.
At the back is a quad camera setup that consists of a 48MP main camera and an 8MP super-wide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP bokeh camera.
Under its sleeves, the vivo V19 touts other features such as Ultra Stable Video, AI Video filter, AI Video Editor, and AI Image Matting for professional-grade editable videos.
vivo V19 hardware and software are set with a focus on lowlight photography.
Super Night Selfie Mode comes with Layer-Based Beautification, Spatial Merging Denoising, and Multiple Exposure features that will allow users to take clear and beautiful selfies set against the backdrop of a nighttime city skyline or the countryside’s starry sky.
Super Night Portrait mode with Multi-Frame Screening, Temporal Alignment, and Spatial Merging Denoising will allow users to capture high-resolution photos of all life’s wonders, even at night.
vivo V19 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 712 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
You also get Android 10 and Funtouch 10.
vivo V19 runs on a 4500mAh battery that the company says will provide long-lasting durability.
Fast charging is supported as vivo V19 will come with 33W vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology that enables the phone to juice up from 0 to 54% in just 30 minutes.

vivo V19 will be available for pre-order at vivo outlets where it will officially go on sale on 2nd July 2020.
It will be available in Gleam Black and Sleek Silver options for Ksh 40,999.
